Supporting Public Sector AI

Social Finance, in partnership with HumanServices.ai, launched the AI Learning and Innovation Hub in 2025 to help government agencies test, refine, and scale AI solutions. Agencies participate in cohorts of 4–6 organizations over a six-month period, collaborating and learning from one another along the way.

Our first cohort was focused on economic mobility and workforce development, exploring how AI can improve service delivery and accelerate innovation while also helping underserved communities access economic opportunities more efficiently.

Key areas of work include:

• Hands-on testing and sandboxing
• Ethical framework development
• AI literacy and capacity building
• Shared learning across agencies
